my 3-3.5 inch jardini's left pelvic fin is ripped. its not badly damaged but its what you would see after a fight with any fish. will it grow back to normal. im asking because ive read that arowanas fins wont grow back to its original beauty.

how about its anal fin and tail fin. i was moving it out of the tank into a small bowl and it jumped out. it didnt fall badly but when i put it into the bowl, the anal and tail fin's tip was ripped. not like from a fight but you can see the separation. just the tip of it.
or even better can someone explain the tail drop in an easier to understand way so i know my jardini doesnt have it from the netting. i know it comes from being stressed out.
what makes an arowanas fins so different from any other fish. my oscars and other cichlids have been in so many battles but their fins always grow back just a good as before.

but the fall could have hurt the fish as you say that it is just 3.5"

how much of a fall would hurt a 3.5 fish? it fell from a chair onto my carpet with a carpet on top. its swimming fine and seems normal. hope theres no long term damage.
