i have one friend who removed a stinger from his ray and another who had a pbass stung neither encountered any necrosis in the areas...

i have a guard on my huge ray for this reason,why not put a guard on his stinger?

my ray whacked my lechartdi , with its tail, taking off 2 scales and caused a few scratch marks along the side of the fish. thats what he gets for trying to nip at the ray
