Ive had a couple of my peacock bass get stung over the last year and a half. All the stings have been by the bass's tall and they have all pulled through but the area was inflamed for a week or so.

Well he looks the same this morning and still not eating. I turned one of my returns to the top of the water to get more air so hopefully that helps
I've had a few different fish get stung but they all pulled through. They were definitely in some discomfort for a few days
gotta trim the barb my friend. gotta trim the barb. i trim mine with a dog nail cutter so its not sharp.
I wouldn't want to put stress on my Rays. I'd rather lose expensive fish
. He seems alright now anyways
