Arowana trouble

sorry I couldn't write sooner I was out of town. so I woke up the day after I started this thread thinking that I was gonna save my aro but what do i see instead... a chunk of his body missing!!!! the texas ate a piece of him (pretty big one too)... so as u all guessed my aro died... I took some pics cuz i was so shocked, i'll post them soon for u guys

:iagree: Not to be an ***, but WTF were you thinking? You have a fish with a history and then you add an aro to the mix. The tex tortures the aro yet you do not seperate them:confused:...SURPRISE DEAD ARO :irked:

16 dead fish now, what's gonna be the next addition to your tank?
 
Live and learn....no way would an aro be able to cope with a tough CA cichlid in a small tank...

You said you're new to this. we all make mistakes.

Learn through them.
 
evil texas....i also have a small aro around 18020 cm and i put my two angel in the tank and they were picking on him, as soon as i saw this i quickly seperated tho aro and angelfish. aros when young are too fragile....sorry for your loss btw
 
use a partion if you do not want to lose anyone of them
