your jardini grows so slow?4 years that small? dang,my uncle aros in 4 years hit like 26-27"
 
I know... I like the size that it's at since its only in a 125g, he can still make his turns. I'm still saving up for a tank that's 24" to 30" deep.
 
my uncles aro grows like weeds and yours grow like scombs haha
 
he feeds them superworm,mealworm,earthworm,crickets,pellets,krills,centipedes, hes a canadian haha he gets centipedes easier then i do

it really doesn't matter on what you feed if you can't give the fish more space to grow in.. and FYI your jar is stunted... meaning it wont grow any bigger and wont live as long as it could in the wild. I dont doubt it will live up to 10 yrs though.

Some what agree with ya, though stunting has more to do with water quality then tanksize.
