Arowana with babies

It just showed up on indodragon.com but I saw it was an old vid. I searched on MFK and couldn't find it, so thought I'd bring it back.

You should know that if you clean the tank regularly, your fish get used to you poking around their tank. Babies or not. She obviously knows how to brood, so I don't think you'd spook her running a mag cleaner across the glass a few times. Jeez, at least for pics. Besides, those babies looked big enough to be removed anyway.

i think the guy was more worried for the babies getting the shock. for any unexperienced people (most likely 98%) of people who care for arowanas wouldnt know what to do and when the best time to release the babies so that it wouldnt have a higher fatality rate. not many people breed aros... cant blame him for letting the parents raise their own kids.

i wouldn't have touched the tank unless a water change was required
and about removing the fry, i think some of the fish really do take care of their fry better than us
