Has anyone tried this combo?!
I try before, it was 3 years ago. Its okay u put them together. Silver arowana and discus will be good together, silver arowana swims at top, discus is about swim at middle and bottom. : Afraid discus won't swim so fast to get their foods. As u know silver arowana have a big mouth, and can eat a lot. Feed them 3 times in a day will enough.

See discus forum here. You'll find lots of topics about that.

Each case is different, but I've seen it several times and it works perfectly well.

I have a 14" Silver Aro in with some male hand-sized Discus. They get along fine, and as long as they stay away from the bottom of the tank the stingrays generally get along with them, too.

Never had a problem with the Aro bugging the discus; however, the arowana (whos name is Abner, btw) does pester and occasionally attempt to swallow the two somewhat smaller longnose gar.

kept black aros with discuss with no problem....

Have that current combo without any issues. Had it before without problems as well. First time silver got to about 12-14 inches before being moved. This time is with a baby aro who is not afraid of anything, including my fingers.
