Arowanas and Gouramis

Did your arows start out with the wicked coloration on their tail fins? cuz mine has awsome coloring and i dont wanna lose that......:cry: :cry: :cry:

The 24" silver Ive only had since may. The 21" silver Ive raised from 3.5" he had lots of nice coloring but has lost is as he's gotten bigger.

No, in the 4 months they've been together no aggression at all, but I believe I am lucky. I had 2 failed atempts with the smaller of the two, previously trying to keep him with other aros.

I've been lucky here. I have gotten rid of all the gouramis, but the aros are still housed with many 5" snooks, loaches and catfish. For whatever reason they just don't pursue the other fish as food.
 
how big were the kissers?did they have much personality or are they just floaties,for some reason ive always liked them and wondered how long it takes them to get big.i realy liked your set up,still would im sure,aros look great.
 
The kissers ranged from 5-8", They were an adoption off of craigslist so I'm not sure how long it took to grow to that size. Floaties describes them pretty well.
