In a shop without heat or oxygen I could just about believe it but in a a bag with no filtration? Would be dead within a week from ammonia alone

Maybe it isn't 1 month but i remember seeing the fish at least 2 - 3 weeks before i bought it there in the bag. This is something that i experienced myself not by hearing it from someone's friend's aunt's daughter blah blah.

What i know the store owner probably change the water in the bag every few days. When i closed the deal to buy it he was like oh forgot to change water and he did a water change in the bag before passing it to me. The bag was all tethered folded and dirty like a used plastic bag look like.

I know ammonia is no good but to be honest man i believe every fish can stand ammonia and nitrite to some extend. It's not like it's gonna die right away if the fish breaths in ammonia.

Anyway like i said i saw and experienced this myself. There is nothing for me to benefit to lie about such thing. I bought that fish myself and this thread isn't even commercial or business in nature. There's no point for me to lie about it. Things happen, even if things that are sometimes beyond people's expectation. Just like once in a while you hear some dude survives a lightning hit or some guy totally fine after falling from a height.
