Good for you. I would make my man do it too. No point in risking our nice soft girl hands, let the guy do it. He needs more scars...builds character... more manly... UG!


I like the second shot. Looks cool.

I hand feed my cichlids, but i will take breaks from it now and then because they will start getting a little too bold.
My oscar jumped clear out of the tank when he was younger.

I would hate to see your Aro on the floor. Its happened before.

But we have to admit, its an awsome feeling feeding these giant fish by hand.

We don't feed him this way too often... and usually you end up dropping the morsel just about the time you see that trap open up... mine luckily is very calm type.. not much excites him unless we are busy by his tank with out his light on.. he must get all weird reflections that startle him...so we always have the light on day or night when we are in the room..Rumble had me hysterical when i read about the manly arms.. you never know what people notice..haha
