I was wondering whether or not a 20 inch silver arowana could live with 9 arapaimas in a swimming pool sized pond and whether or not it will live to tell the tale. If you want to see the pimas heres the link

in this video i am standing 2 meters of the ground because the ponds depth changes especially in the flood seasons in cambodia.

they're not so bad they did get rid of my neighbours cat but thats the worst thng they've done and sorry if i cant take pics of aro because store wont let me

btw... youve gotten me addicted to your videos... damn you! you should stick your big mama silver in the pond with the paimas... she'll teach em a lesson! haha

seriously doubt it.. pimas are apex predators and at the top of the chain with RTCs.. if they wanted to have a go they very well might do it.. but then there have been instances of people with pimas and silver aros.. arapaimag.. thats a 50000 gallon tank.. tlkmdn.. he has a large pond too and the pimas are just growing out.. you never know.. well if you do.. all the best.. cheers..

even if you start keeping them at the same size, the aro still doesn't stand a chance!

If it's a massive arowana I think you should be okay. You'd be better off with more though IMO

High risk but nevertheless no answer to it unless you try it out.

A fellow Cambodian Monster fish keeper. I was born there but now in the states. How much is an arapaima over there ?

Looks pretty cool. i used to keep paimas with silvers though my paimas were babies - now they are separated. you can always use a separator to try out.
