I have a Clown Knife of 7-8" and a Royal Knife of roughly 5" I would like to get a silver, black, or snow arowana as tank mates for the two knives. Is this a good idea? Will they grow together peacefully or will there be problems down the road with fighting between them? They would start out together in a 125-150 gal and eventually move on to a 250-300 gal. Advise on if this is a wise move?

CKs and Aros are pretty common mix. Just becareful of Jardinis because they're very aggressive and may kill the Knives

I'm not all that familiar with arowana's @ all. Just their size, food consumption, and looks. Are any of these arowanas that I listed (Silver, Snow, or Black) considered a Jardini? And they'll live together full grown without any issues?

Also, if I were to purchase all 3, would there be any problems housing them in a 300 gal tank along with the two knives?

no a jardini is one of the aulstrailian species...and yes there would be problems housing those three together most likely and i doubt youll beable to find a snow if you do i wouldnt suggest gettin it for your first arow VERY expensive...i would start off with a silver. and read up on them as much as you can before making your purchase

All the Aros you listed are from South America while the Jardini are from Australia. So you're pretty much safe. I don't think that all 3 would be a good idea, just because of space. The Snow will also cost more than $50. I'm talking about in the thousands. I think you just can barely squeeze by with a regular Silver and a Black as long as they're raised together from a small size.

no 2 arows will fight in a tank of only 300gal rottobo has 2 in his 750gal pond....in order for more than 1 arow to work in somethin smaller than a pond that size would be like 5 or so otherwise they smaller least dominant one will get beatin up and if you do 5 you will need like 500-1000gallons

Don't get a jar...Try the silver or black.

I don't like your chances of getting a snow though.

you want to buy a snow, im selling 3 right now
