well first off a 6x2x2 is way too small to house one for life, in my not-very-humble-at-all opinion. These are active fish that grow to 3-4 feet and giving these active fish 2-3 bodylengths of swimming space before they're forced to hit the wall, and scarcely 1 length of width, is absurd. 180g would work for 2 years or so. Sad it is to say there are many people who think even a 125g is suitable for life.

There's a good chance they'll start seriously fighting if you add more than one arowana in the tank; add more than one at your own risk. Arowanas do well with other tankmates that are large enough to not be eaten, yet docile enough to not harass the arowana. Large datnoids, gar, catfish, and a multitude of other fish come to mind.

feed them fish pellets, fish fillets, market shrimp, and any live foods (insects or fish) you want excepting goldfish.

They are jumpers, and will wriggle out of any concievable orifice in the tank canopy. Duct tape and wire mesh and other such vices must be used thoroughly if you don't want to come home and find this
