Poor aro :(

Jardinis usually stay smaller, if you grab a Jardini it'd fine fine in the 6x2x2.

hi glad to hear you wanna keep these beautiful fish!!! :) i had a silver aro from about 6 inch to 24 inch and he was one of if not the best fish i had. i used to hand feed him and he looked amazing whenever some one came in the room they were like WOW!! :22_yikes: . i found that they weren't too aggressive just gotta be careful of the other fish pickin on them and make sure ya feed them otherwise they'll demolish ya stock!!! also a nice tight fitting lid is a very good idea too.
i wish ya luch with keepin these beauty's and have fun

i got a silver yesterday and he didnt seem to interested in food the store ordered it for me and they said he was eating feeders and ghost shrimp i want to get him off live and on to pellets or something any help appreciated he is about 7 in. long

Dan, I have never had the pleasure of keeping one but I do know that the black aros tend to stay smaller and be cheaper than other aros, but if you get an asian you can make all of us yanks jealous.

this shows how powerful arowanas are. make sure you have a strong cover or at least weigh it down with something heavy.
