arrowana and neons

hi anyone out ther ever kept neons with fully grown arrowana any tips how neons is best i aso have a pacu and giant gourami

U know what......I remember seeing a pic a while back of a LFS with a full grown Jardini in a tank full of Neons.

Neon tetras.. do a search on yahoo and you can find a lot. I heard that some people feed the arowanas only pellets and worms from young so that they do not think that tiny fish is food?... The other way is to fully plant the aquarium so that the small fishes have places to hide. If the arowana is very huge already i doubt they would attack small tiny fish as it is a mere waste of energy.

I have never mixed neon or other small fish with a large aro but I would not be suprised if the aro ignored the tiny fish. Alot of effort to catch such a tiny meal. Pacu and osphrenemus I bet would more activly hunt down and eat little fish though.

I think Neons would make a colorful snack for most any Aro, hell My silver aro had faced off with my mayan cichlid.

I saw 1 the other day, jardini and neons. But it's not a good combination though.

y not, i think a planted tank, with a fully grown aro and lots of little neon tetras would just look awesome!
