I went to toss somebody in the pool wed., and went in with themswear:.... I have talked to atleast 5 people that said their phones worked again in a day or two. Mine worked shortly after for about 2 min. and then powered down again. I have ins. and can get a new phone for $50 deductable, but I lose all my pic's and phone numbers that are saved:irked: Anybody else done this, any tip's. It's sittin out in the sun right now. If it don't work by mon. I guess I'll have to get a new one...

I hope it wasn't an iPhone.

Nope, just a katana.

Put it on the dash of the car roll up the windows and let the heat dry it out it worked for a freind of mine.

My dad who is 74 soaks his phone from time to time..... :nilly: I use a hair drier to dry it out....... take the battery out of the phone and set the hair drier on a counter and let it run while pointing at the cell phone, an hour or so should be long enough.

take the battery out, and let it dry out. or you can take it apart and dry it out thats what i did.

i dropped my brand new LG phone in my 75 gallon last year......i promptly pulled the battery and took it apart to dry......it worked for a year until the buttons started to not work :D
