Something I've been meaning to get into for awhile, props. Seems like you can have either the money or the time to pursue it but never both. Here's my first attempt, its a little sloppy but looks alright from a distance. Kind of a Stempunk-ish sci-fi handcannon thing.

Me too kind of. I've done a bit of set design and what not but I've always been a prop geek at heart. I need to practice more, making stuff for my own films.

Spray paint back ground, and paint markers, ghetto style lol

Found it! Wanted to share some of my recent works and didn't want to start a whole new thread so heres the old on

First one I did two versions of cause i wanted to do one in highlighters like i used to but i can't give up my addiction to prisma colors...so i did both
highlighter and pen

the prisma colors look much better >.>

And one i have been working on for...months.....

Lol, I bought that gun a looong time ago thinking it could make a cool prop but then I saw it in countless no budget short films so I decided it needed to be heavily modified if I was going to use it for anything. I had priginally done a decnt black and silver repaint but it was still too close to the original, so having the pirate gun laying around I was kind of led into the steampunk side of things.

lol, I was smoking a pork roast Sunday and fish friend said its got to be hard to get a roast to burn, I said with enough beer you can get anything to burn. he has a brew room and thought that be a great saying for his brew room. I changed it up a bit, and burned it in African mahogany, 250 grit sanding tomorrow and just going to seal with shellac, rather than polyurethane or varnish.
