Got home last night and my ARTC had a swollen eye and a little blood at the top of it... But the eye was moving fine and he seemed to be able to see out of it. And he ate as much as normall. Checked this morning and the eye is a little more swollen and foggy. Not sure what I can do besides wait it out? Any advice would be nice!
Sorry I couldn't get a pic.
Thanks

I thought popeye rarely occurs in just one eye. He might have got poked in the eye by a sharp spine. If that's the case, I'd quarantine him and treat with antibiotics to avoid post-inflammation causing an eye loss.

Good news.

I am not convinced Melafix did anything but I admit that we now have two cases reported in this thread.

Melafix is a very mild, natural anti-inflammatory treatment for skin, fin, barbel abrasions and scratches. Moreover, some serious experts claim Melafix/Pimafix don't do a thing. Still, it is always good to see different reports and then experiment on your own. When there are conflicting schools of thought, we do tend to learn mostly from our own experience.
