Nice. Thanks for sharing. So, from 1.5" to 33" in 4 years. Do you have a thread on this fish? If not,

-- how have you kept it in terms of tank sizes through the 4 years?

The first 5-6" was slow, as it lived in a 15 gallon alone, diet was mainly dried shrimp.The time frame was 5 months.

Then it lived in a 30 gallon till it reached 11", by then I had found a source for hikari, and stared feeding it massivore mainly. The time frame was 6 months.

At 11" size it was moved to the pond, the pond had a 25" gator gar and some vieja regani and vieja synspillum.

Oner the three years it was in the pond it killed the viejas as well as ate the viejas, do cichlids is not an option even in a 120sqft footprint pond.

The only fish it didn't bother much was the 20" plecos and the gator gars.
