Gorgeous kel and substrate.

Any updates on your $35 kelberis?

Sent from my Nokia 5165

Unfortunately, I have lost all my $35 Kels over time.
One was bitten in the eye by my 15 inch Armatus that I no longer have.
One developed a crooked spine possibly by smashing into the acrylic when bein chased and died.
One I lost recently by it being bullied by the big Broko.
All very sad to me but that is the gamble and price we pay to raise and love rare peacock bass and other exotic fishes.
Here is a pic of the recently deceased WC Kelberi...

SOme portly azuls! The substrate looks great but needs a few bigger rocks as well to make it look a little more natural.
Sorry bout the loss of your kels. Atleast you have a good example of a bahia.

Thanks Gangster. Great minds think alike. I do already have larger rocks to spread around in my tank. I havent added them yet. I get all my substrate from a local rockery store and some at Home Depot
Local Rockeries are a good way to find good gravel and rocks for your tanks. It is a trade secret to saving money on aquarium rocks and gravel. Check them out wherever you live!
