What was wrong with the fins of this fish? Why did they take out anal rays and cut the tissue between the rays. It seemed like they were keeping the fish out of water too long. Interesting video.

i have no exact details but by looking at the video closely i saw the tails having some crooked tail growth.

thats stupidest thing ive ever seen

8 minutes out of the water with no device to flow oygenated water over the gills, that fish definately has brain damage, but im sure they dont know that. fixing the drop eye was not worth that.

I agree. I'd have to imagine unless it was sedated of some sort prior, that it suffered quite a lot of brain damage from that whole process.

it was sedated

but regardless of whether the fish was sedated or not it was out of the water the whole time and with no way to breath
