their techniques are questionable as well...i honestly dont think these guys know what they are doing, theres no follow up video of the fish and i dont even know the history of these guys and with arowanas. i dunno bout you guys but im far from impressed.

i think the fish had whats called "tail drop syndrome" its when the there are clean breaks in the rays of the fins, these dont usually heal or grow back evenly, so they cut the damaged section so it can grow back more even.

very interesting.... correct me if i'm wrong, arowanas can take O2 outside the water right? because, some arowanas will gasp for air. I observed this in asia and not here. as i said, correct me if i'm wrong. if it was my arowana i would not do it unless for gill curl. Aside from that.... i love fish... i'm just not a risk taker when it comes to live animals.
