Asian Aro; yay or nay?

The tank has lids already. If I get an aro I will silicone pieces of glass above the edges of the lids so they can only slide in and out, so the only way the aro can jump out is by breaking the lid.

BTW I'm not a complete aro noob, I kept a black aro for 2.5 years about 8 years ago...

david, i sometimes feel i am an aro noob when i deal with this forum, everyone here are aro elites lol cos we have only silver and black in NZ untill recently.
though i have had arowanas since i was 6 - i still ask questions always something to learn i guess

Only three rtg's came in, so I've got the choice of either a green or low grade red, or wait and hope more rtg's come in, which could be 6-12 months...

Did you sell the volks for this hobby??
Green is not that bad, I like em if they have big fan tails and nice barbels.
I'd pick a nice green over low grade any day.
