Asian aro

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Asian aros are much better looking in every aspect.Whats the harm in talking about them?
By the way i'm from india, here its legal

All aros are nice if silvers didn't get drop eye they would also be nice

I can't stand some Asian aros like king banjar and green and would rather have a black aro than the ones I mentioned

Is it just a case of US residents not being able to own one that makes them so cool or the high price tag

The price of red and xb has crashed but the lower grade stuff like green banjar rtg HBRTG has stayed about the same price and I can't see them ever dropping any lower

The price of a RTG is still around £300/$450 which is still more than most people want to spend on a fish

It will be interesting to see what happens with prices over the next few years

Asian aros have gone down in prices here in asia, especially rtg’s and banjars. And also the cross between rtg and banjar.

I've noticed a fair number of people posting from India here. The Philippines showed growth in the hobby over the past couple years too.

Do you still have your big red T1?

Exaxtly what are you trying to get at?

Someone posts an Asian aro and the first thing you do is look at their location and raises your suspension when it says "planet earth, my bedroom". so? Whats it worth to you? Why do you care?

Why dont you just enjoy the fish/pics rather than being so suspicious.

Nothing to do with location just wondering why 1 year ago I used to see loads of silver black and jar threads
But lately it seams to be every other thread seams to be a Asian aro thread just wondered why

Asian aros haven't become legal in any new country's so where are all the new owners coming from

Threads gotten a little off track but I still think the majority of the Asian aro threads are started by members who live in countries where they are allowed to be kept and most American posters merely chime in with compliments for the content of the photos.

i truely agree that the price for an asian arowana have drop prices everywhere.. 8 years ago Canada red cost about 2k-2500.. and 2 years ago it cost about 1k-1500.. so prices did drop a lot.. even now i would says prices will drop with the captive breeeding in asia... there are asian arowana floating around in USA without a doubt even illegally.. it's like cocaine with the much of demand in the market people still buy them and demands are still high so in US markets their prices won't drop as much...

in a certain extent i believe that, but with the growth of the Internet, people, and other factors i do believe US market is growing with that market of Asian Aros.. even it's being ILLEGAL... :naughty:

..........I'm just giving an Suggestive Opinion here......
