Ok guys, I got some facts on this. I've been "patroling" the aquabid listings as a "fun game" for several weeks now, and I have amassed a bunch of emails from one of these "sellers".
My first project was a seller by the name of johnatonlong...he is gone now. per this thread-

The next one is "AnitaParker" I have been playing a game with this person to try and get the info I needed to turn over to Aquabid, and have had quite an amusing time with it. This person is prretty good....She listed "Quality Leopoldi" and the address was in Utah...but of course the phone number was out of the country, and it said that they "ship from the UK".
So I began to show interest. Long story short, whn I finally convinved her that my "financing" had fell through, she needed me as a "distributor". Now that would be a heck of a deal for me to work out, but I know much better. So I continued, making it very clear that I would not be accepting of forwarding payments until I had a fish delivered to me.
Well, last night, I got a call from a "client" of hers...Looking for a RedX Aro. This guy was serious, and he had already been ripped off once. I had agreed to accept these calls because I thought it might be a good chance to save someone from getting ripped off. I had a great talk with this guy. I never knew anything about Asian Aro's except for what they looked like...didn't know they were illegal, becyse I'd never looked at getting one.
Long story short... I sent Aquabid my information, told them it was only "suspiscious" at this point, and suggested that they verify a few I.P. addys...
This morning all of the "AnitaParker" listings are gone...
Anyone wanna feed me names? I'll take the time to get them gone.
Aquabid is too good of a concept to let it get ruined this way. I think it is up to us to monitor it...I don't think they could possible have the staff to investigate all of these things on their own without some help.
One thing I was curious though...Is there ANY documentation, or license that could be used to posess or receive an Asian Aro in the USA? It seems that they are all captive bred in ponds over there, and are no longer in danger...so it would seem that a captive bred Aro should be legal...but Laws are dumb...and I'm not a lawyer.
