Asian Arowana Ban Being Removed in the US?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
No United states officials are going to do anything until studies are done to determine the wild population. And as far as anyone knows theres no plan to do the studies needed. You can partily blame the breeders for not releasing new stock back into the wild.-Anne

You're right. No US officials are going to do anything period. That's what they are best at, doing nothing!

We in the US can only dream. I want to be the first kid on my block to own an Asian Aro!

I'm guessing you don't follow soccer or most forms of motor sports oddball?:D

I never followed soccer. I was always too big to play it. So, I played football instead. And, I never understood how any driving competition could be called a sport. Drive fast, turn left, and sit on your ass for 5 hours. I get a better cardio scuba diving in a pond.

but do you get 250000 dollars for doing it? :) Sport or not pay me 250 k to drive 200 mph legally and i'll die loving it:)

Nah, not talking about racing around an oval track Oddball. It seems only Americans race around in circles, most motor races are done on proper race tracks.

Motor racing doesn't seem strenuous, but heart monitors put on race drivers have found that they operate at just a high physical level as alot of other sports wrestling their vehicles around. Their typical heart rate is at 160 beats per minute, formula one drivers can lose over two litres of fluid in a race. Their level of fitness is extremely high, not just physical, but mental toughness to concentrate for hours at a time - one slip of concentration can spell disaster.

I'm with you on the soccer, never follow it myself. Only have a slight interest since Aust. made it to the world cup at the moment. Play Rugby myself, find it much more enjoyable than American football because its much more of a flowing game. Too many stops, starts, time outs etc with grid iron.

On my morning commute, I once had a jerk run a red light and miss crashing into me by mere millimeters. I lost two litres of fluid then, too.

I just want that snow aro-still, yet, and until I get one.

Dude, 2 LITRES? How is that possible?

Don't answer that, please. Maybe if we knew who to write to or mail we could light up the sky with a hail of fire from MFK's and everyone else you know. Monster Movement.

I was at Petco a couple weeks ago talking to the fish guy and a guy came in and bought a Silver Aro. I started talking to him and I asked him if he had any other aro's and he said he had a couple silvers, Jardini, Asian:eek:. when I asked him how me managed that he said if you know who to go through and have enough money you can get pretty much anything you want, he then turned around and walked away leaving me thinking :bs: So what do you think the chances are that this guy actually has one?

pretty good chance he has one.But not if he keeps running off at the mouth about it-Anne
