I have heard unbelievable prices for Asian Arowanas being sold in the USA on the Black Market. Out of Modesto there was one that went for allegedly over $50,000 about 7 or 8 years ago. That town is not even in the California Bay Area were the majority of the black market fish come from and are sold. Just for the sake of asking what are platnium X back going for in Asia these days $100,000 US dollars?

I'd buy one. But if they came legal tommorow and they were already readily accesible, I wouldn't bother getting one anytime soon and also if they weren't $500. I don't have 500 bucks to spend on a fish that could hit it's head and die a year later. I'll pay 30 for a silver and be just as happy.
