Man, not for long maybe 3-4 months but that is pushing it.
Tell you what. Let me go buy a 55 gallon you ship him to me and I'll record ALL the data with pics and I can give you an accurate answer lol.
I'm assume that you live somewhere that Asian Arrowana is legal to keep.
If you have money to buy the fish then why's not buy the tank that can hold it for years to come instead temp hold it in 55G tank. You have high risk damage the fish (fin and tail, it's easy for them to drop if they jump) while transfer it to new tank.
