Wow nice. What's the deal with these fish (barb I'm guessing?) I don't know anything about other species outside of cichlids but I was in an LFS today that had a tank full of these (or something that looked exactly like it big silver scales etc.) ranging from $100-$200 (maybe 5-8") and $3,000 for a 16-18" one.

oh wow.... never thought an lfs would carry em , unless they got it from Wes or Rich

Yeah I dunno who he got em from but they look the same. Huge too compared to the regular barbs you see at petlands etc especially the big boy they had. And at the price they were charging they were more than likely going to grow bigger.
