Anyone have experience with this fish? Are they long lived and hardy catfishes?

As far as i know 8-10+ years and they can get around 7 - 8" and are extremely hardy...
I just got mine, pretty good size, 7 inches. It hides all day inside a log. Does yours ever come out?

a buddy of mine gives me tetras every now and then... I put them in this tank... usually in the morning it's laying down on the front of the tank with a fat belly...
