What size tank would you MFK'ers reccomend for a trio of asian forest scorpions? Also what is the proper way to handle a scorpion so you don't damage it/get stung?

Any pics you got of them I may be interested. But I don't think you should andle them no matter what

Any smallish fish tank would do the trick. You DONT handle asian forest scorpions, their sting its much stronger then Pandinus and could cause you some damage. Get a pair of long twezzers and with them gently coach a scorp into a small holding container you can easily scoop and securely close.

I think a 10 gallon would be fine and like everyone has said, do not handle them. Just transfer them into something like a plastic critter keeper and use tweezers or a stick to coach them into it.

OK, I knew not to free handle them, but didn't know whether to use tweezers or what.. thanks guys.

So a 10g? Sounds good, I've got a couple lying around.

arachnids are one of the easiest things in the world to keep short of a pet rock. just make sure they have water and throw a cricket in from time to time. most dont even need heat

Alright sweet. I've got a load of spare heat mats, should I slap one on or is there no point?

it couldnt hurt. I would read a care sheet just to make sure but I don't think it would make a difference either way.
