it depends on its size and temperature,



dont forget the ants hehehe even a 5inch scorpion cannot defend itself when it is molting

We have a trio in a 10 gallon terrarium. I would suggest using a heater but on the side of the tank not on the bottom. They will dig down and you don't want them sitting on the heater. The temperature in ours is about 78-80 degrees. The cooler it is the less active they are. Make sure the substrate stays moist. We have ours set up with a false bottom. As far as feeding I put in 6-8 crickets every week.

From what I know. Keep the soil moist, if you are using that as a substrate.
