Asian gar or not?

yup, Florida gars are apparently being produced in Asia...hence the species is Florida gar, but from Asian farms/supply. there have not been any true gars out of Asia for millions of years (but there were some waaaay back in the day) --

i know cubans have been bred in asia, mine(and yours perhaps?) came from indonesia(apparently. i know some people who knew the owners of CF back in the day and that's what they told me) and were released into the market through cichlids forever. also i think they're being bred now, i see juvenile cubans popping up for sale in japan pretty ofter and recently. same thing with widebar datnoids. probably other gars too?
