Asian Green Shine

I think my Green was nice!

Not much shine either!

But somehow it didn't taste too bad either!

Did this fish die? Or jump out?

I never really liked greens all that much.

But I ended up buying one a couple of months ago and it has really grown on me.

Other than its aggression problem...I rate my green quite highly.

That just about sums up my feeling towards them as well ... and the aggression is only towards other aros.

All aros are nice. But I prefer the Asian ones. BTW, Greens and Grade 2 reds are beautiful. They don't have shine, we call that sheen.

Hey, looks like you were really hungry huh? Bet it didn't taste too good. Too bony, and the flesh is tasteless. Golden xbacks taste better though, you should try it!

The Green got done in by large ST, found dead in the morning.

I did clean and cook it.....your right the flesh is tasteless, and has quite a bit of bones, many small fine bones along the front part of the body....reminds me of Musky/Pike

It was just an experiment, I don't really like freshwater fish to eat!

As for the matter of eating Golden Xbacks.......I would rather put one in my tank!...LOL

Greens don't have special shine unless you have Nami Green . That costs more than a Super Red.
