I am a proud owner of a Jardini and an African Arowana and while watching them I came up with this idea;has anyone ever heard about the possibility of getting the Asian and Australian arowanas together to breed and create hybrids?Being half offspring of a restricted species,I dont know howthe laws would affect them.I have read most of the discussions regarding bringing the Asians into this country but I dont remember seeing this come up.There seems to be quite a craze going on with different hybrids and if someone can put two totally different types of catfish together, and create a whole new kind of cichlid then I cant see why our friends in Asia cant put these two together and create a super hybrid.
