asian knife?

LOL...No way it would be Chitala Chitala aka Notopterus Chitala (older name) since they're endangered. But like mentioned, it's probably Notopterus Notopterus. I hear this guys are actually the most aggressive of all the Asian Knife species, but at a lfs, they seem pretty mellow to me.
 
Don't under estimate the bronze knifefish. In my experience pound per pound they are the most aggressive featherback knifefish around. Even more nasty than p. afer. Mine will beat the crap out of my 21" RCK. It's about 14". Already killed a 18" albino ck. Bronze knifefish are not a wimp and will nip anyone new comers.

True Chitala chitala are harder to find in the hobby and probably the holy grail of featherback knifefish.
