how bout datnoids, hampala barbs or florida gars as tank mates...

They are great little fish but grow VERY slow-mine eats frozen prawn and can swallow huge pieces compared to its size. Tends to like to hide quite a bit in the day

Hampala barbs are allowed. Nandus nandus are slower moving perch so I would recommend dats od something else that swims slower. Barbs are a hard mix as they will eat everything first and have the tendency to bump into slow predatory fish. They also grow slow as heck
