Went to a local marktet today to do some fishing literally and figuratively, to see if I could come up with some sort of seafood for my finicky Jag. I found dried shrimp in a very large 8oz package for $5.99, if you compare this to the 3.5oz of krill for $12-14 or more, it's absolute theft. I highly recommend visiting your Asian grocers all kinds of good stuff for our aquatic buddies....

I will have to try this..... to bad asain stores in the midwest generally dont have good "live" fish I know of several people who have got some sweet large monsters for cheap becaus they were being sold as food....

I have a lfs that sell 16oz frozen krill for $9.99 where everyone in town sells a 16oz. for $16.99 - $19.99.
So an 8 oz. krill for $5.99 is a fair price.

i love going to super markets and looking at their live fish, they occasionally have live datnoids for sale, to bad my tank isnt big enough. also careful that the frozen shrimp doesnt have any salts or spices on it, i cant find some small shrimp w/o salts or spices.
