Nice Aro and I love the FRT too! Are they illegal in Canada? How big do they get? What exactly do they destroy in your tank? Sorry, not trying to hijack your thread!

What's a 1.5? Not sure on grading. Cert says "Second Filial Generation (F2).

The F2 refers to your fish being captive bred, as they are on the CITES Appendix I (most endangered) to be legally traded they have to be microchipped and certified second generation captive bred.

Like the pig nose turtle, better watch him because when he gets big when you least expect it your arow will have e nice bite out of his tail like your arow but not a red. I would leave his tail alone it will grow back by its self.

I had a soft shell turtle from the size of a coin. 5 years later he was the size of a dinner plate and completely destroyed every thing in the tank. Gave him to a reptile sanctuary.

They get pretty big... Usually 1.5 feet captive. I think they are illegal in North America now although I know there are some people here in Vancouver that still bring them in. Cost of them sky rocketed though. Not sure about them destroying things. Mine's pretty tame. Nips at fish fins if the fish hang out too close but doesn't go out of his way to bite.

Yeah he nips at the fins of my eartheaters but they learned to swim away pretty quick. He doesn't go out of his way to get fins, just if they're in his face.

I had a Fly River turtle once with my aro and dats

It killed a few dats so I pulled him out and gave him a slap

Then it got so big I sold it
