They grow fast and I hear they're very aggressive. I've always kept mine by itself because it had no eyes.
They eat the standard large catfish fare (pretty much anything)... feeders, pellets, raw cut prawns (whole ones when they're larger), squid, etc. They're extremely aggressive catfish, one of the nastiest fish i've ever kept. Couldn't keep with anything, beat up my dovii, managuensis, etc.
As soon as the lights go out, they turn into little devils. Try feeding yours bloodworms, frozen or live, he should gobble that up right away.

lol yeah.....when i turn the lights off he gets out his cave and goes hunting....when i turn the lights on he hides under my fishes or runs back into his cave lol....very funny
You should look into picking up some bulkt trout pellets. there pretty good for fish alot cheaper then feeding food from the market
Nice pick up that is one of the Big cats I am looking to find !! they will eat anything thta fits in there mouth and this is one agressive fish by all acounts so most likely will end up being the onle fish in the tank!!!
