me and my friend had one and we got them already eating pellets, so they grew pretty fast on hrimp pellets and floating cichlid ones as well as feeder guppies from time to time. they are really energetic when small or mine was atleast pretty cool fish. but they love food hah
I had a blind one. It was born with no eyes. I bought it when it was small so I didn't even know until it grew to about 3" It was a cool cat even if it couldn't see.
I had 2 in a 55 gallon with 2 oscars about 6 years ago. They ate annything and everything. Even whole live crayfish. I had to get rid of them as it was costing me too much to feed them at the time. I bought them at about 3" each not really knowing what they were. When I traded them in after 2 years they were both about 18".
I have a 30" Asian RTC together with a SA RTC, CK and pleco. He's very timid and just stays in the bottom gravel and digs for food there. I feed pellets and anchovies. He's about 3 years old.
Omg those are freakin mean!! I got one and the same night as soon as i turned off the lights i could hear the water splashing because it started beating up all the other fish...turned on the light and some of the fish had torn fins.....
i just picked up a couple last week. they are about 2 to 3". they are getting along now with the other tankmates. Once they get some size things will change. They will be kept by alone in a mater of a few more weeks.. Anyone have experience with multiple Asian rtcs together?
