I don't think it's worth the risk of it murdering their entries tank.

that was a joke haha I don't ever encourage people to get either kind of RTC. To many homeless ones out there as is. not to say the OP wouldn't take care of it or anything.

I would love to own one but I know I could not house it. I know I could take care of it as I have a connection to all my fish and don't want them to be unhappy. They just get so big.

+1 agreed, I'd love to have an RTC, and I wouldn't mind having the pond for it, but in PA the heating bill for that thing in the winter would bankrupt me haha. I'll probably just settle for an outdoor 5000gal pond with a native flathead catfish instead lol no heaters needed.

Flatheads are the best predatory cats man :D. They just eat everything else in the pond.
