someone just had some american eels listed in the classifieds. I'm sure it got closed, but I'll try yo find it. Some type of anguillia species.

I saw that but Im not really wanting to keep them in a tank...can you say live bait for ]v[ONSTER catfish?! I think a good 30" eel drifted about 2ft off the bottom drifted over known holes to hold huge cats would make a great bait!

u can't get them live.. they wont let u... u can bribe them probably.. but by law.. California anyways.. they are not allowed to be sold live..

Except crabs.. u can bring one home live.. i dunno if anyone has done it tho... bring a live crab back home.. in side their own salt water tank..

you can get them live i got one even asked for some water with it. They are american eels and they are freshwater.

I once picked out and brought home a nice big live lobster from the supermarket.I used it to cycle my saltwater tank.

What kind of eels are sold live in the tanks at Asian markets? Anyone know? Also are you able to buy a fish out of the tanks and take it home alive or do they kill it first?

If they are American eels id like to try something with them...no Im not going to make a crazy Japanese porno...
