Not possible. You would need the paperwork and they never really give that out.

Start your own public aquarium and you might be able to get yourself a research permit for one...

its alot harder than that to get a permit you would have alot of hoops to jump through and most people dont have the patience to do this. IT IS HARD ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO GET A PERMIT FOR THESE i bet there are only 5-10 permits out there now and they are all zoos

i wish they where legal. there a cool fish, but the fine for haveing one is very high and even if u did try and do paper work. its still gonna cost an ass load of money. might as well go get a silver arrowana
