research a lot before getting a fish!!! a 55 should be alright to start off with. also if you do get into fish keeping SEACHEM STABILITY will be your friend during the cycling process.

Take the time to figure out what fish you want FIRST! When I started, I had NO IDEA how many different fish there are out there and as a result, I ended up getting fish I liked and then finding others I liked more and wished I could take the originals back! I also realized after only about a month that I was going to need a much bigger tank for the fish I wanted!
