am going to order an Assorted Haplochromis cichlids

so i wanna to know what is in the family

i know from them the giraffe cichlid

and i wanna know what else in the family i searched on it to get a list with the others but got nth ..

any one can help me ??

Giraffe Cichlid is a Venustus, in the Nimbochromis group.

Basically any Cichlid from Lake Malawi thats not a Peacock or Mbuna

Also give it more an than hour to get an answer. You also did not look hard, we have a thread about haps at the top of the section. That would have been a start.

and now i have to choose either an

1. assorted Peacock cichlid

or

2. assorted Haplochromis cichlid

so what do u guys choose

am afraid that after i get it .. i won't find cool colors

why choose? get both

tank size? some haps get really big

why are you getting assorted? you could possibly end up with anything including hybrids. You should look through the threads and different profiles to see exactly what you like, and focus on getting that particular fish.
