I picked up a couple assorted peacocks/ haps and I think I know what the first one is, but looking for confirmation and the second one I have no idea. Out of the water the second one has a little red and blue around the face and gills

Assuming they are pure the first one looks like Aulonocara stuartgranti.
The second one is difficult. First impression was Otopharynx lithobates. But the face profile Looks a bit steep.

Now I can see more details.
The blue one seems to be a hybrid. The head doesn't match with an Aulonocara. But the body looks like one.
Still no proper idea with the grey fish.

Ahh, I was afraid that it might be a hybrid. This LFS is usually pretty good about that, but I’m usually weary of ones being sold as assorted unless I can identify them. Oh well, at least it has nice color

Interesting you say the second is a protomelas, I had a friend come by and he said protomelas too, but his guess was insignus.

That's interesting. I didn't consider C. aureus at all. But now I see what you mean. There is a lot of resemblance.
But are there azureus that show so much white under the chin and on the ventral fins?
And the end of the dorsal fins and the tail show a lot of red for an azureus.
I still tend to say it's a hybrid.
