Assorted perches growing out!

If Jeff and Wes had chuatsi I don't know how I missed it as I've been after them for quite a few years...The last ones I had was a duo that none other than R1Rydah sent me....The grunter is already pretty fiesty especially for it to be so small so yeah,I am eyeing it closely...Wes does have a few S.undulatus left that I am tempted to order.

Just checked an old thread of mine, last time they had them that I'm definitely aware of was 2010. I had picked up three little Chuatsi an 8 inch Scherzeri and Leptobotia elongata at the time. Never seen an S. undulatus guess it's time to look over Wes's old threads and maybe beat you to the punch.

What became of those perches that you did get?

Scherzeri was good for awhile but wound up choking on a large piece of shrimp, still can't believe I lost a fish to shrimp of all things well make that two fish because I also lost one of my Armatus to the same thing. The Chuatsi I sold, they get kind butt lookin' as they get bigger and I didn't have the room for them. At the time I had a tank full of Barra's, Chuatsi, Vulpinus and Trachycorystes and wanted to get a Curupira, so I sold them all, except the Trachy's still have 2 left.

That must have been quite a display.

It was a mess, lol! I was overstocked I and when I added the Curupira it got real messy. I'm hoping I've learned my lesson though at least on rushing to prepare food when feeding my bigger pred's. Hopefully soon I'll have a better display, one that's better thought out and more in balance.

Yeah, and maybe you can start with a nice undulatus to build around.

That would be nice, just wish I could find a pic of one. I did find Wes's list with them on it so I may just do that. Now hoping I'm not stepping on your toes if I shared a pic of my Scherzeri here because this thread really did remind me just how much I miss this guy.
