Keep us updated, I have to admit it looks beter than I thought, good idea. Now lets see how well the fish do in there.

To be honest though, I don't know if I'd start with a cichlid or a guppy, the Pleco doesnt sounds to bad (those guys are tough) but I myself would probably try it on a small group of feeder minnow, it"ll give you time to gut load them while they were in there as well.

will do, quite interesting watching the flowerhorn sift through it for bits of food.... it doesnt float either, it would be nice if it flowed around abit but hey its an experiment for now.

This looks much cooler than I was anticipating, def would be neater if it was flowing with the water movement more but that looks pretty cool.

i still like it on the bottom of the smaller tank, looks cool. not sure about it as backing for your 150? i'd like to see a FTS to make up my mind
