Astronotus(where's your) occelatus

I believe ( not fully certain, though )there is an Astronotus subspecies that has no, or less developed, ocells....

maybe you got that one, which would be lucky of you

i have two red oscars, ones white ones black neither of them have the tailspot. and they are 7" and 8" long.
they are pure orange on their sides though so i think the breeding for the red colour has just coloured over the spot? i dno
